What is SteveMadden.ca's Return Policy?Updated 16 hours ago

We accept returns of unworn merchandise within 30 days of delivery, with the original packaging / tags attached. Shipping charges are not refundable. Returns will be refunded to the original method of payment or as store credit. All clearance items, bodysuits, accessories, and items marked as final sale may not be returned or exchanged.

 •  Return in one of our retail stores: For your convenience, we accept online returns at Steve Madden stores (this excludes Apparel items which must be returned via mail). Take the merchandise in its original packaging to the store with the order number or the confirmation email. Click here to find a retail store near you.

 •  Return via mail: You may obtain a return authorization using the Return Center. After selecting the item(s) you wish to send back and choose the reason for the return, you will be able to print a shipping label to send the items back to us. Drop off your package at the nearest courier location indicated on the return label. There is a $6.95 plus tax per order return fee that covers restocking and postage back to the warehouse. Your return request must be made within 30 days of when your order was delivered, and we must receive the merchandise back at the warehouse within 15 days of when the authorization was issued. Returns by mail are only accepted for orders placed online. The usual turnaround time is 1-2 weeks from the time shipped to when refund is issued. Do not send items back through other means or without obtaining a return authorization as your package may be sent back to you.

Please note:

• Clearance items, bodysuits, accessories, and items marked as final sale are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards are non-refunded.

• Apparel items must be returned by mail, not in store.

• Steve Madden retail locations do not process returns or exchanges on November 28 and December 26.

• Steve Madden guarantees against manufacturer's defects for a maximum of 6 months from the date of delivery. Normal wear and tear does not qualify. If you feel the merchandise is defective and it was purchased from this website, contact us by email [email protected], and please include your order number and photos of the item so we can provide a quicker and suitable solution.

• Steve Madden merchandise purchased from other retailers, including department stores or platforms, must be returned to the store from which it was originally purchased and will be subject to the return policy of the originating retailer.
